This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Leniventus LLC uses them on firstimpressionmanager.com, and how you can manage your preferences.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember things between requests — that you’re logged in, which language you prefer, which A/B test variant you saw — without re-asking on every page.
We only use first-party cookies (cookies set by firstimpressionmanager.com itself) on the marketing site. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party tracking cookies.
Cookies we set on firstimpressionmanager.com
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. You can’t opt out of them — without them, login, A/B testing, and your consent preferences themselves wouldn’t work.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
authjs.session-token | Authenticates a logged-in admin to /admin and /super. | 30 days after sign-in (or sign-out) |
authjs.csrf-token | CSRF protection on auth form submissions. | Session |
authjs.callback-url | Holds the post-login redirect target during sign-in. | Session |
aicw-active-tenant | Remembers which tenant a multi-tenant admin is currently viewing. | 30 days |
fim-cookie-consent | Records your cookie-banner choice so we don’t ask again. | 180 days |
Analytics / A-B testing
These help us understand which version of the landing page converts better. Aggregate, never identifying individual visitors. You can opt out via the cookie banner or by visiting cookie preferences.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
fim-variant | Assigns you to the optimist or cynic landing variant so you see the same one on every visit. We aggregate trial-conversion stats per variant without identifying you. | 90 days |
Cookies set on customer sites (the FIM widget)
When the FIM widget is embedded on a customer’s site, it does not set browser cookies. It uses localStorage on the customer’s domain to persist:
aicw-conv-<tenant>— the ID of the current conversation + the visitor’s message history, so re-opening the chat continues where they left off. This data stays in the visitor’s browser; we do not read it server-side.
Visitors can clear this by clicking “Clear conversation” in the widget header, or by clearing site data in their browser.
How to manage your cookies
- Banner. On your first visit to
firstimpressionmanager.com, a banner asks for your preference. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or customize per category. - Change later. Visit cookie preferences any time to revise your choice.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. Doing so on the strictly-necessary cookies will break login.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when we add or remove cookies and bump the “Last updated” date above. The cookie banner will re-appear if we add a new non-essential category, asking for fresh consent.
